My job as your real estate agent is to completely know the local real estate market and be able to prepare for you a comprehensive market analysis that compares your home to several homes of similar size, build and finish that have been sold in the past three to six months. The perfect formula for a home to hit the market and possibly get multiple offers within days is seller preparation + correct pricing + superb marketing.

Step 2: Staging Your Home

Prior to staging your home, it's vital that you take the time make necessary repairs, then declutter and clean your home. Beyond the importance of real estate photography, (which you can read more about in my blog post featuring Jesse Riesmeyer) having your home decluttered can help buyers to envision themselves living in the space on future tours, which is key! If you plan to vacate prior to open house, it is worthwhile to consider bringing a staging company in to set up furniture and create an inviting space for buyers to visualize living in the space..

Step 3: Listing Your Home

Now that your home has been staged and photographed, it's time to get your home listed on the MLS! It's important for you to gather all of your property-related documents from the time of purchase to present. The more information you have about your home, the better! We'll need to document all repairs and improvements you've made since your purchase of the property. It's also time to start marketing your home!
